Preserving Summer Memories with Snapfish*

I recently met up with my friend Sabrina for a day out and we decided to head to Great Yarmouth. We had no real vision for what we were going to do, but decided to visit Merrivale Model Village. Merrivale is a fictional village set out across beautiful landscape gardens, streams and waterfalls. It cost us £7 each to get in and we were there a good 2 hours looking around all of the scenes.

The more we walked around, the more we discovered. Even when editing the photos I discovered more people in funny positions and more scenarios each time I looked at the pictures. I think Merrivale is aimed mainly at children, me and my friend in our mid 20's actually loved walking round here and had a really great time interacting with the scenes and pressing the buttons.

There were plenty of funny scenarios such as the above, and even a streaker on the football pitch! These little touches really made the day entertaining and there was plenty to keep our eyes busy. I took so many photos, I wanted to find a way to keep them so my friend and I could remember this great day so I headed to Snapfish to check out their bestsellers. Snapfish UK specialises in photo printing and personalised photo gifts so I knew I would find the perfect gift.

I decided to order some prints that I could turn into a lovely photo gift. I loved how Katie from The White Journal displayed her holiday memories and I wanted to create something similar with my Snapfish photo prints. It was really easy to chose the prints I wanted, and I added a white border to them to make them look a bit like Polaroids. Prices start at just 11p!

I then collaged the photos onto a plain piece of card adding some embellishments. I framed the piece and love how it turned out. It would make the perfect personalised photo gift, the only problem is I wanted to keep it for myself!

I then created a Hallmark photo mug that I could give to my friend as a gift to say thank you for a lovely day out. I chose a photo of the two of us. I picked a 'wanted' design which is fitting because we've always been partners in crime. This Hallmark photo mug was only £7.99.

To remember my day in a way that is easier to display I created a collage print. These are so simple to create as you simply add your chosen photos online and Snapfish will auto-fill the collage for you and you can tweak it however you like. I ordered a couple of these 7"x5" prints for just 22p each!

I have so many great memories from this day, thank you Snapfish for helping me to preserve and share these moments.

On a separate note, Snapfish also sell a range of personalised photo stickers and I got some little ones made with my blog logo. These are perfect for sealing treat bags full of sweets that I can give out and promote my blog at the same time. You could even pop these treats into one of the photo mugs which would make a great gift.

I had a lovely day with my friend Sabrina. We also played mini golf and walked so many miles and I'm so happy with my personalised photo gifts from Snapfish. Where have you been for a day out lately? How do you preserve your memories?

Father's Day Gifts with Snapfish*

Having previously reviewed some products for Snapfish and being a great lover of the quality of their personalised gifts, I jumped at the chance when given the opportunity to create some personalised Father's Day gifts. I love how easy it is to personalise items on Snapfish and I am a repeat customer. Whenever I think of 'personalised photo gifts' my first option is always Snapfish.

I collected some old photo's of my dad, me and my brother and scanned these in ready to add to my Snapfish account. I decided I wanted to create a few different things for my dad so he can remember some of the old times and I know he doesn't have access to these photos.

The first item I created was a Photo Book and I decided I would make this into 'Things Dad knows best about'. I used old photos and recent photos to outline some funny one liners and I think it worked pretty well. There were so many options for sizes and cover styles and I chose the 8"x11" book with a classic blue linen cover.

Snapfish Photo Book

This book cost £19.99 and was really easy to design. Snapfish provide you with lots of themes and photo layouts and if you're really pushed for time you can even have the book auto-filled for you with your chosen photos. I wish you could emboss something onto the front, I think that would make it a little bit more special.

The paper quality is really good, and despite using quite old photos, they have been printed really well and look surprisingly clear.

I then decided to create a Collage Photo Mug in my Dad's favourite colour, red. This was really simple to do, I simply chose the photos I wanted on the mug and Snapfish autofilled them into a collage around the mug. Brilliant, and literally took only a few minutes. This cost only £8.99 so is an ideal gift if you're on a bit of a budget. To make this a more interesting gift, I filled this with Dad's favourite sweets and wrapped it up to make it into a gift.

The final thing I purchased for Father's Day was a card which I also personalised for just £2.99. This took only a few minutes to do, but gives it a nice touch. The quality of the photos on the card are really clear and I am impressed with how it turned out.

Snapfish Calendar Review - Ideal Personalised Christmas Present*

Every year for Christmas my mum ALWAYS asks me to buy her a calendar so when Snapfish offered me the chance to create a personalised calendar, I jumped at the chance knowing this would be the perfect Christmas present and a lot more personal than your standard shop bought calendars.

Snapfish Calendar Review

What I loved about Snapfish was how easy the website was to navigate. Snapfish offer unlimited free photo storage so I uploaded loads of photos to use in the calendar before I got started.  They have a wide range of personalised photo gifts and there literally is something for everyone.

I went onto the main calendar page on the website here and couldn't believe the available options. Snapfish have 4 available calendar styles in 9 different sizes. I decided on the slimline kitchen calendar for my mum priced at just £9.99. When I clicked on this option, a range of designs came up which can all be customised. On this occasion I simply chose the basic design and got started with adding photos.

Snapfish Calendar Options

The process of creating a calendar couldn't have been simpler. You add your photos to Snapfish and then drag and drop them into the relevant photo areas. There is even an option to auto-fill all photos if you’re in a bit of a rush. You can then edit your photos by cropping them, rotating them and even adding different filters such as black and white.

This is a great size for the kitchen and the photos have been printed at a really high quality.

Once I added the calendar to my basket and checked it all over for any spelling mistakes I decided to create another calendar.

I then designed a calendar for my boyfriend. I decided to go with a slightly larger one and got the 12x12 classic wall calendar  at only £18.99. This process was very similar to the last, however this time I decided to customise the calendars with a chalkboard theme. The great thing about the Classic Wall Calendars is that for no extra charge you can personalise certain days, for example on our anniversary, I added a little photo of the two of us. I think this is a really nice touch and a great way of adding a visual reminder of certain events such as birthdays/holidays.

I then ordered myself a 30”x20” collage poster calendar for £14.99 which was the easiest to create out of all 3. You simply choose your photos (up to 30) and the website fits these into a lovely collage for you. You can then shuffle the photos around, change them, add a featured photo or leave them as they are. You can then customise the colour, I chose pink to match my bedroom or you can even use your own photo for the background. This size is perfect for the back of my bedroom door.

Overall I had a really good experience with Snapfish and will definitely be using them again for personalised photo gifts because the quality and customer service is outstanding. The prices are really good value for money and it means you can give someone a present that is that extra bit special. Delivery was quick however my only gripe is that each calendar came in 3 separate packages which was a bit strange, but I suppose it kept them all separate .

Thank you Snapfish!
