National Rum Day - Spiced Rum Punch Recipe*

Summer is all about getting together with friends and family, having a BBQ and a few drinks and having a really good time. We recently had a family BBQ and the perfect drink to go with this lovely summer evening was a rum punch using the Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold Rum. Keep reading for this delicious recipe which will go down an absolute storm.


Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold is blended with spice, natural flavours and fine Caribbean rum. The mixture is charred in white oak barrels to create the lovely golden colour. Although it is said to be best served over ice with cola and lime, I couldn’t resist adding it to a punch and I must say it was glorious.

Ingredients:
Pineapple Juice
Orange Juice
Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold Rum
Fresh Lime - Juiced
1 x Orange and 1 x Lime


Method:
Mix together the pineapple and orange juice then add your Captain Morgan into a punch bowl. Squeeze in the juice of 1 lime, then add chopped orange, lemon and lime to the bowl. Serve with a ladle with some ice in a tall glass. Enjoy!


It’s national Rum day today – Tuesday 16th August 2016 so make sure you get your rum on! It would be rude not to.
